Four Hawaii Restaurants Make ‘Top 100’ List from Yelp

Today, Yelp announced its 11th annual Top 100 Places to Eat rankings, and four Honolulu-area restaurants made the list—including Adela’s Country Eatery at the number 7 spot.

Every year, Yelp analyzes millions of reviews and suggestions from its community of users to name the best local eateries for its Top 100 Places to Eat list, which includes everything from hidden gems in strip malls to upscale dining establishments.

This year, the Top 100 list sees overwhelming representation from Asian, Asian Fusion, and Southeast Asian restaurants, making up 25 percent of the list. Yelpers love noodle restaurants like Menya Rui (#2) in St. Louis, which serves more than 100 bowls daily of decadent noodles and broth. While Asian street foods remain popular, diners discovered and ranked more Korean places to eat, like O’Kims in Honolulu (#58), cooking up authentic Korean cuisine.

Since its 2014 debut, the list has recognized more than 750 establishments across more than 380 cities, shining a light on beloved local businesses, while driving more foot traffic and revenue for their establishments.
