Tommy Bahama Opens New Bar Concept in Lahaina
Tommy Bahama is expanding its presence on the island of Maui with a new Tommy Bahama Marlin Bar in Lahaina. This new, casual hybrid retail-restaurant concept is in keeping with the brand’s relaxed, elevated dining and shopping experience.
There are three full-service Tommy Bahama Restaurant, Bar and Store located in Wailea, Manu Lani and Waikiki, but this is the first Tommy Bahama Marlin Bar to open in Hawaii. The spectacular ocean front location at 900 Front Street, Lahaina, opened in December 2020.
The Tommy Bahama Marlin Bar is a natural evolution for the brand’s combined shopping and dining experience. The 8,900 square foot open floor plan features a retail store alongside the restaurant and bar. The retail store showcases an impressive assortment of Tommy Bahama men’s and women’s sportswear, swimwear, accessories and home décor items. The restaurant and bar offer indoor and outdoor dining options, a bar with ocean views and a festive tropical print wall with a neon Aloha sign that provides the perfect selfie backdrop!
The Tommy Bahama Marlin Bar also features a new style of service: orders are placed at the bar, then the food and drinks are delivered by servers to the table. This streamlined approach appeals to a more casual diner while still providing guests with the signature Tommy Bahama experience and a glorious Maui sunset.
The menu includes Tommy Bahama’s World- Famous Coconut Shrimp, Blackened Mahi Mahi or Jerk Chicken Tacos, All American Beef or “Nashville†Hot Chicken Sliders, Ahi Poke and Mahi Mahi bowls, salads, sandwiches and Pina Colada Cake or Key Lime Pie for dessert. The full bar offers signature cocktails, Island Rum drinks, martinis, wine, beer and Zero Proof Cocktails.
The Tommy Bahama Marlin Bar is open from 11am-9pm daily with Island Time Happy Hour from 2-5pm daily. Online ordering is also available for take-out or delivery on all menu items and special family meals.
Since the first Tommy Bahama Restaurant, Bar & Store opened nearly 20 years ago at the Shops at Wailea, locals and visitors have identified and embraced the relaxed, island lifestyle. The new Tommy Bahama Marlin Bar will offer guests another opportunity to experience the brand in a different setting.
