Honolulu a Top 10 City for Coffee Lovers
In its 2020’s Best Coffee Cities in America report released today, finance site Wallethub ranked Honolulu seventh among the country’s 100 largest cities.
The site says that 62 percent of Americans drink coffee daily, and prepared its rankings in advance of National Coffee Day on Sept. 29.
The Coffee Scene in Honolulu:
1st – Coffee Shops, Coffee Houses & Cafés Per Capita (three-way tie)
18th – Coffee & Tea Manufacturers per Capita
28th – Avg. Spending on Coffee per Household
39th – % of Adults Who Reported Drinking “Ready-to-Drink†Coffee in the Past Six Months
55th – % of Households that Own Coffee Makers
To determine the best local coffee scenes in America, WalletHub compared the cities across 12 key indicators of a strong coffee culture. The data set ranges from coffee shops, coffee houses and cafés per capita to the average price per pack of coffee.
